Carpe Diem Now
Ten years agoWe didn’t knowWhere we’d beIn five years.
Five years agoWe had no ideaWhere we’d beIn three.
Three years agoWe didn’t knowWhere we’d beIn a year.
Set your sights.Ditch the fear.Climb new heights.Your path is clear.
Carpe diem.

About

dad ~ poet ~ writer ~ cyclist ~ information technology ~ 80s music, jazz, really good coffee and adventure junkie

I am fortunate to have had poems and essays appear in The Herons Nest, Modern Haiku, USA Today, and in other publications. My first book, A Tango with a Thistle, is available at libraries, local bookstores, and internationally from online booksellers. I've recently started writing short stories and I'm excited to be working on my second book of poems, Do Amazing Things.
